Shakespeare Workshops
Bringing Shakespeare to life through rap, performance, and creative expression.
Our Shakespeare workshops use rap and spoken word to make the Bard’s language exciting, accessible, and relevant to today’s students. By blending rhythm, rhyme, and performance with Shakespeare’s plays and themes, we help pupils connect with the text in new and memorable ways. Perfect for supporting GCSE study or enriching whole-school literacy projects.
What to Expect
In each workshop, pupils may:
🎭 Explore Shakespeare’s characters, themes, and language through creative rap activities
✍️ Reimagine famous soliloquies or scenes in their own words
🎤 Perform their versions with energy and confidence
🤝 Work collaboratively to bring Shakespeare’s ideas into the modern world
⚔️ Take part in a playful ‘rap battle’ between Shakespeare’s main characters
