Frequently Asked Questions
Workshops
Workshops are suitable for Key Stage 1 through Key Stage 5, in primary and secondary schools, colleges, PRUs, SEN schools, and community groups. Every session is adapted to the age, ability, and setting of your group.
Workshops are usually booked by the day. A typical format is a morning assembly followed by three 60–90 minute workshops, but the day can be tailored to your requirements and can be discussed prior to the event.
Workshops are flexible and can be delivered to any size group — from one-to-one sessions to full year groups in assemblies. Smaller groups allow more time for individual writing and performance, while larger groups mean not everyone may get to share their work. Either way, as long as there’s enough space, we’ll adapt the format so it works for your setting.
Workshops can run in classrooms, libraries, theatres — pretty much any space where students can write and perform. We usually advise against sports halls as the acoustics can be tricky, but if that’s the only option, we’ll make it work. Please also provide a whiteboard, SMARTboard, or flipchart. We’ll bring the microphones, speakers, and music.
