Online groups and individuals worldwide
CPD sessions for teachers and facilitators
In person workshops
Students take part in high-energy sessions that mix performance, writing, and games — all leading to them creating and performing their own raps.
Workshops are suitable for KS1 to KS5 and all ability levels, with content and delivery adapted to your setting — whether that’s a primary school, secondary, SEN provision, or a community project.
They are booked by the day and can be shaped around your timetable — a popular format is a morning assembly followed by three 60–90 minute workshops, but any variation that fits your school day will work.

Online workshops
Online sessions bring the same energy and interactivity as in-person workshops, with performance, games, and rap-writing adapted for the digital space. Suitable for KS2 to KS5, community groups, or even individuals, these workshops work well for assemblies, classes, and projects anywhere in the world.
Sessions are lively and engaging, with opportunities to contribute ideas, join in with freestyles, and share work on the mic.
In a typical session participants will
witness a live
improvised
freestyle rap
learn about the language tools
a rapper uses
explore
rhyme and vocabulary
generate ideas around a theme for a new rap
create original lyrics and poems
perform their
work to
their group
CPD & Consultancy
Our CPD sessions give education professionals practical approaches to rap as literacy, poetry, and performance — with a focus on building a creative curriculum, overcoming performance anxiety, and developing authentic teaching. Beyond workshops, The Rap School also offers consultancy to help schools and organisations plan projects, train staff, mentor facilitators, and embed rap into their programmes. It’s all about empowering your workforce so more young people can benefit.

Unforgettable! It was terrifying performing in front of the whole year group. Even though I messed up, I feel proud that I did it. I hope to be a rapper one day so it was great to meet
Rob and learn from him

I didn't think I could do it at first. When I started writing, it started flowing and I'm glad I got up!

I loved making our own raps, and it was
funny when he got involved and performed
them with us. Writing about ourselves was challenging but fun.
